Mint green, a color which in the past was only expected to be seen in hospitals and on hospital employees has now made a huge impact in the fashion world. From sweaters to shoes, this green hue has become the color of everyone’s choice. But why has this specific color has gained so much popularity on the racks around the world? Well I have two reasons for it:-
1.) The mint green color has quite a soothing effect to it on one's eyes. 2.) Pastels have a tendency of looking fresh and young but also sophisticated. They can give just the right amount of pop to a neutral outfit without looking super flashy. And mint green is the pastel hue which is on the top of the game at the moment. The 5 S wardrobe - So which all mint green pieces should definitely be in your wardrobe? I believe you should have the 5 S's of mint green clothing – Sweater, Satchel, Statement, Skirt, Sundress. Oversized Sweater – Winters are usually dominated by dull colors like grey, brown, black and navy. A mint green sweater brings in just the right amount of happy to a dull looking winter. How to wear it? Oversized sweaters and cut off shorts are comfortable and feminine, and if the sweater is mint green, they check the stylish mark too. This look is perfect for a casual trip to the grocery store or night-in with your friends. To amp up the look, you can sport the sweater with black or blue skinny jeans or a neutral colored plain bodycon dress and heels. The oversized sweater in itself is quite overwhelming, so go easier on the accessories. |
